What is NLP?

Neuro-linguistic Programming is a highly effective communication tool which allows unwanted behaviours to be identified and addressed, allowing positive, lasting change to take place.

NLP is useful for weight management, breaking unhelpful eating habits, and providing the motivation to exercise. Usually, when we embark upon a diet or exercise programme, we do well for a few months, but gradually lose motivation and find ourselves slipping back into our old ways. Before we know it, we're back where we started. This is because change can be challenging and willpower will only get us so far. To make lasting change, we need to address the underlying motivators behind our negative behaviours, and get in touch with our motivators for positive behaviour. NLP can help with this.

NLP works because it addresses behaviour at a profound, motivational level. Victoria Leedham is an ANLP-certified NLP Practitioner. She uses NLP coaching to help clients identify their health and nutrition goals, and change their behaviour so that they can reach these goals, and stay on-target.

NLP coaching is an excellent complement to nutritional therapy or a Nutrition Checkup. It provides powerful motivational support through the process of lifestyle change, and can greatly increase the likelihood of a long-lasting positive outcome. Coaching sessions can be particularly beneficial following the second and third nutritional therapy consultations.
